Glow Journal ("we", "us") publishes educational digital guides. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to align with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
When you buy a guide, our payment provider collects your name and email address so your purchase can be delivered and receipted. We receive that name and email. We also see the amount, currency, date and status of the transaction.
We never see or store your card details. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor and never reaches us.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and handle any later question about your order.
If you post a comment on an article, we store the name and location you choose to publish with it.
Only the services that make the shop work: our payment and delivery platform, our email provider, and our website host. Each sees only what it needs. We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Purchase records are kept for six years to satisfy accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for two years.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your data, or stop using it for marketing. Email hello@glowjournal.net and we will respond within 30 days at the latest.
Deleting your data may mean we can no longer re-send your download links, so please save your files.
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Our checkout provider may set cookies necessary for the payment to work. If we ever run advertising that uses tracking, this page will be updated first.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
